Way to go, PA! In Pennsylvania, some 10 million residents - or 85 percent of the state's population - are provided recycling collection or drop-off service. More than 3,200 recycling and reuse businesses operate in the state, employing more than 81,000 workers. About a dozen of the state's 67 counties have exceeded the state's recycling goal of 35 percent.

Clean Your Air (CYA)
Plug into clean electricity. It's Available, It's Affordable, It's Reliable. It's the single easiest way to improve the quality of our air!
CYA is a public education initiative of the Mid-Atlantic Renewable Energy Coalition (MAREC).
MAREC is a coalition of environmental and charitable organization, government agencies and renewable energy businesses working together to increase consumer demand for clean electricity so that there will be substantial new development of clean electric generation in the Mid-Atlantic states.
For the first time, we have the power to choose clean electricity instead of electricity that pollutes our planet and endangers our health. By choosing clean electricity, we will increase the development of new domestic electricity resources and technologies, reducing our dependence on polluting fuels. Since renewable sources of electricity like the wind and the sun can be naturally replenished, they offer tremendous benefits to our health and our environment, while ensuring our energy independence.
EVERY SINGLE HOUSEHOLD CHOOSING CLEAN ELECTRICITY IS PART OF THE SOLUTION. For every 1,000 households that buy clean electricity, the benefits to the environment are equivalent to: planting over 950,000 new trees taking 1,700 cars off the road not driving 20 million miles
Choosing Clean Electricity is the single easiest way to improve the quality of our air! Join the growing number of individual residents and businesses who are choosing renewable electricity and creating a cleaner, healthier and more prosperous future.
