Déjà Vu All over Again In celebration of the 35th anniversary of Earth Day, Indiana & surrounding state artists are invited to apply for Déjà Vu All over Again, an art and fine craft show featuring artists who reuse and recycle materials.  Sponsored by kidscommons Children's Museum, the Columbus Area Arts Council and the Bartholomew County Solid Waste Management District, this juried show will be held in downtown Columbus from 10:00 A.M.until 3:00 P.M. on Saturday, April 23. In order to be eligible, work must be made by reusing or recycling preconsumer and/or postconsumer waste materials. There is no entry fee for the show, which is being held

Recycle Library The National Recycling Coalition along with many contributors has published online The Recycle Library which consists of hundreds of reports, fact sheets, and studies from organizations around the country. Many of the reports analyze national recycling trends, others focus on specific community programs. Free Stuff for a Litter Free PA  PENNDOT will provide gloves, vest, and garbage bags to groups in the county volunteering to pick litter.  The Great PA Cleanup website is sponsored by DEP. This is the 28th annual KPB (Keep Pennsylvania Beautiful) Day.  Last year over 2000 volunteers in Monroe County alone, contributed their time to this program.  Bags for Monroe County will be picked up on Monday, April 25th, from groups that have registered.
